Agentic security operations firm Exaforce announced Tuesday that it has raised $125 million in a Series B funding round, bringing the company's total to $200 million, with participation from HarbourVest, Peak XV, Mayfield, Khosla Ventures, Seligman Ventures, and AICONIC. The startup has added 20 customers including Replit and Guardant Health since bringing the product to market in Q4 2025, and expects to reach 40 to 50 customers by year-end. The platform builds a real-time security knowledge graph at ingest and claims its agents answer investigative questions in under a minute — a 10x reduction versus reconstructing context at query time (TechCrunch, SecurityWeek).

The interesting architectural choice here is that Exaforce moved the expensive work — correlation, context-building — out of the agent's reasoning loop and into ingest. That's a quiet bet against the dominant "give the agent more tools and let it figure it out" paradigm that defined 2024–25. If that bet keeps pricing out — Vinod Khosla's pitch is that the biggest opportunity in enterprise security is flipping the economics so that defenders, not attackers, hold the leverage, and when the cost of defense drops by an order of magnitude the entire calculus of security changes — then the next generation of agentic products won't differentiate on which model they use, they'll differentiate on what they precompute. The valuation says investors believe at-ingest is the new moat.
