Microsoft announced Frontier Company on July 2 — a $2.5B operating business that embeds 6,000 engineers and industry specialists inside enterprise customers to build and run AI systems on-site.
- Microsoft is investing $2.5B to embed 6,000 industry and engineering experts at customers to co-design, deploy and continuously improve AI systems at scale , per the official Microsoft blog.
