Overview

Steps

  1. Map your onboarding checklist: Document every step from offer acceptance to Day 30 — IT provisioning, document signing, training assignments, team introductions, equipment setup.
  2. Build the trigger: Set up an n8n workflow that triggers when a new hire is added to your HRIS or a Google Sheet (start date, role, department, manager).
  3. Automate account provisioning: Connect to Google Workspace, Slack, and other tools to auto-create accounts with the right permissions and group memberships.
  4. Send personalized communications: Auto-generate and send welcome emails, first-week schedules, and manager notifications with AI-personalized content.
  5. Track completion: Build a dashboard that shows onboarding progress for each new hire, flagging incomplete steps for HR follow-up.
