Overview

Writing client proposals is repetitive yet high-stakes. This workflow uses AI agents and n8n to automate proposal generation — from intake form to polished Google Doc — while maintaining the quality and personalization that wins business.

Steps

  1. Create the intake form: Build a form (Google Forms, Typeform, or n8n form node) that captures project scope, client details, budget range, and timeline.
  2. Configure the AI agent: Set up an n8n workflow with an AI agent that takes form data and generates a structured proposal — executive summary, scope of work, deliverables, timeline, pricing, and terms.
  3. Generate the document: Auto-create a formatted Google Doc from the AI output, using your firm's proposal template with branded headers, styling, and boilerplate sections.
  4. Add review workflow: Route the draft to a partner or senior consultant for review. Track edits and approvals within the workflow.
  5. Deliver to client: Once approved, automatically generate a PDF, attach it to a personalized email, and send to the client — all triggered from the workflow.
