Steps

1. Prepare your playbook: Define your standard positions on key clauses (indemnification, limitation of liability, IP ownership, termination, governing law).
2. Upload the contract: Feed the full contract text to Claude. For best results, paste the text rather than uploading a PDF.
3. Run risk extraction: Prompt Claude to identify and categorize all risk-bearing clauses, rating each as high/medium/low risk with specific language citations.
4. Compare to your playbook: Ask Claude to flag deviations from your standard positions, noting what's missing and what's non-standard.
5. Generate redline suggestions: Have Claude draft alternative language for flagged clauses, aligned with your preferred positions.
