Agentic Daily
Your AI ROI story is about to face the FT framework.
Investors will start asking for cost-per-intelligence and tokens-per-shipped-feature in diligence — get those numbers into your data room before your next raise, or expect a discount (FT).
Enterprise AI and software are dominating mega-rounds again.
Crunchbase's weekly leaderboard shows where capital is concentrating; if you're not in one of those sub-sectors, calibrate your valuation narrative against the actual deal flow, not the median venture survey (Crunchbase).
Run a one-page internal audit of where your own org's review capacity has become the bottleneck instead of production. Before Friday:
- Pick the three teams shipping the most AI-assisted output (eng, design, GTM copy) and count review-to-production ratio
- Identify which reviewer role is now the rate-limiter (staff eng? legal? brand?)
- Decide whether your Q3 hiring plan adds more producers or more reviewers — and write the answer down before the next board meeting
The week AI stopped being something you deploy and became something you can't account for
Anthropic admits Claude now writes most of its own code, bots just beat humans for control of the open web, and finance teams can't reconcile a token bill — the through-line is loss of human-legible accounting, not loss of control.
