Our Take
The Orchestrator model is clever — meta-agents that route between specialized models could be the missing piece for production deployments. But 17 adopters at launch does not mean 17 production deployments.
The Platform
At GTC 2026, NVIDIA launched its Agent Toolkit with 17 enterprise adopters including Adobe, Salesforce, and SAP. The platform provides infrastructure for building, deploying, and managing AI agents at enterprise scale.
The Orchestrator
The centerpiece is an 8-billion-parameter Orchestrator model that intelligently decides when to use tools, when to delegate to small specialized models, and when to leverage the reasoning capabilities of large generalist models. This meta-agent approach could solve the model selection problem that plagues enterprise deployments.
Growing Ecosystem
Celigo announced Ora, a natural-language interface with Agent Builder enabling non-technical users to create workflows. Contextual AI launched Agent Composer for turning RAG systems into production agents. Dataiku is positioning itself as the orchestration layer for enterprise AI agents.
Reality Check
Despite the tooling advances, most enterprises are still struggling with the basics: fragmented data, unclear agent scoping, and lack of observability. The tooling is maturing faster than organizational readiness.
