$830M Data Center Bet
Mistral AI secured $830 million in debt financing for a data center in Bruyères-le-Châtel, outside Paris. The facility will house up to 13,800 NVIDIA chips and is expected to be operational by Q2 2026. Mistral aims for 200 MW of capacity across Europe by end of 2027.
Mistral Small 4
Mistral released Small 4, the first Mistral model to unify fast instructing, deep reasoning, and multimodal chat into a single model. It also launched Voxtral TTS, an open-source speech generation model supporting nine languages including English, French, German, and Hindi.
